A simple dessert was in order for today… Fortunately it is quick easy and only 3 ingredients needed!
Banana 'No-Bread' Ice-Cream
A super fast, easy, peasy dessert!
Ingredients
- 1 Banana (peeled and frozen)
- 2 TB Walnuts or Pecans
- 1 TB Coconut Oil
- Flax seed, hemp seeds, sesame seeds (optional)
Directions
- Place frozen banana and nuts in small food chopper. I use my small Ninja chopper. Pulse chopper until banana is creamy.
- Remove the blades and stir in the Coconut Oil.
- Place in dish, top with optional seeds or nuts and enjoy!!
- TIPS -This process can be used with just about any frozen fruit. Other fruits may need to be slightly thawed, or add a banana to other fruits to achieve the desired consistency.
- Also, I like to keep bananas in my freezer as I never know when I may be in the mood for some “ice-cream”
Excellent! Tell me, how ripe is the banana before you freeze it? Medium-ripe or very?

You are welcome!!! Thank you as well!!! One of the hardest things for me is to give up desserts, but when I cave to sugar, candy etc it is very noticeable in my health[and not in a good way!] So this is one recipe which helps fill my dessert cravings…
It works with almost any fruit. The trick with some fruits to get them creamy is they have to be slightly thawed… or adding a bit of banana will help too…
Recently I have been playing around with adding different things such as nuts, coconut or a splash of vanilla… Going to try and make a “mint” ice cream just haven’t figured out exactly how I want to go about it yet 🙂

It is one of my favorites! Just went to the store today to stock up on more bananas… I try to keep some peeled and frozen because I never know when I may have a dessert craving 🙂
